EMEC: Tidal Teaser
The European Marine Energy Centre Ltd is a UKAS accredited test and research centre focusing on wave and tidal power development based in the Orkney Islands, UK. The Centre provides developers with the opportunity to test full-scale grid-connected prototype devices in unrivalled wave and tidal conditions. This is significant as the more thoroughly tested such technology becomes, the more we will be able to rely on it as a future form of energy. Introducing new and sustainable forms of energy will allow us to shift from an industrial based nation into one which drives the green revolution.
